It would be too hasty if Juventus showed someone other than Motta, considering that so far he has shown Juventus' status is quite good and is still strong in keeping the distance from Lazio 2 points. The title hunt is still quite early and we might still see a change of position especially to secure a ticket to UCL next season. So let Motta finish 1 full season rather than planning to be replaced by Xavi. I know Xavi is a competent replacement figure but Motta is also still worthy as Juventus coach.
He must be able to make Juventus a dark horse in the Scudetto hunt, I think that is the only way to keep his position safe. Motta must prove that he is still worthy of being retained as coach next season by maintaining his team's performance consistently in order to maintain their chances of winning the title.
Although this news is still just a rumor, it does not mean it will not come true. I have seen how Xavi performed while handling Barcelona, he deserves a chance if Motta fails to make Juventus finish in the top four.
