Addiction don't just happen once is a gradual process and most time most users don't usually take notice of it on time they usually hide by telling themselves that they ain't addicted to gambling until they start seeing the negative effect of that addiction, it usually kick on due to greed or wanting more because some folks or should I say most folks usually see gambling as way to eradicate poverty quickly by just hitting the jackpot and such mindset don't usually help one when it comes to gambling rather it will add to things that will messed them up in gambling.
The wrong mindset on gambling will only lead gamblers to a dark hole. Even if you were rich before you knew about gambling - you will be as poor as poor after a serious gambling addiction. Gambling without control is highly undesirable for any gambler - so of course the right mindset must be upheld. Gambling is just a fun game to spend some money on - but when someone wants to change their fate on gambling, they will actually get worse.
You're right - some gamblers don't realize they're addicted, and they refuse to be called addicts. Gambling should be fun - but it can be a disaster when you have the wrong mindset about it.
