The problem with Brazilian teams is that the country's coaches have outdated philosophies and are tactically much inferior to European coaches. Just watch the Brazilian national team's games and you will see that the team does not even have a tactical scheme. There are many deficiencies, especially in positioning, which have been happening for years.
Sometimes ago there were some rumours about the Brazilian team been politicised as it has to do with the appointment of their coach such that some persons were of the opinion that only an indigenous coach should be appointed but I see that that has done them no good if examined so far, since they have most of their players as European stars, it will only make sense to get an European coach at that international level to assemble them and get the Brazilian national team back to a better form enough for them to be able to contend their European counterpart.
