In recent years, many people have turned to side hustle freelancing, gig work and online businesses to supplement or replace traditional jobs. The rise of platforms like Uber and Etsy along with social media and e-commerce has made it easier than ever to earn independently. While this offers flexibility and additional income, it also raises concerns about job security, benefits and long-term stability.
Is the gig economy the future of work or does it create more financial uncertainty??
Gug economy is in! there's no way it's going to be stale anytime soon. The entire job market is very uncertain and anyone can loose their jobs anytime. There's no guarantee on anything. I personally feel that everyone should have at least 3 sources of income and it is only possible in the Gig economy.
I personally know a software engineer who earns more in his freelancing than his regular job. He has a solid plan to take retirement as soon as he reaches 40. That's what we all want. Gig economy is showing ways to achieve financial freedom.
