I wonder why AC Milan sacked Stefan Pioli because if you ask me he was the man that understood the club so well. Now that Milan's situation is going from bad to worse, maybe the next option they'd be considering is to sack Conceicaõ since at this rate he can't be able to move them from their 9th spot. As it stands I doubt they would be able to make it for European competition next season so with all this things happening at the club, who do you expect to be happy and congratulate the club?
They fired Pioli because they wanted Milan to become champions and thought that changing the coach would help, but it is obvious that Fonseca was not the best decision, especially since he had not achieved anything significant in Serie A before. Conceicao obviously cannot make the team better either, after a few successful first matches and winning the Cup, things went back to normal. And Pioli is now working in Saudi Arabia, so he will not be able to return to Milan.
I think what some clubs don't understand is that patience is the key to giving you what you want. Pioli did well at the club but because he made mistakes like every human is supposed to, they fired him and now how well have they gone to get a better replacement than him?
Right now, AC Milan are like Chelsea and Man UTD in the English league who are so desperate to get a coach that would bring them back to the good old days that they can't afford to exercise any form of patience if the coach is not giving the desired results.
I just hope AC Milan can get their shit together before they lose their force and small clubs no longer respect them.
