Of course, I'm new to this topic, but it seems to me that if we consider bitcoin as an investment in the long term, then the purchase may be justified, even if the price is high now. But in order not to incur losses, portfolio diversification is important in any case.

Think of diversifying after you have gotten some nice amount of bitcoin In your portfolio and if you are thinking of diversifying, is better to diversify in something out side the crypto space , than wasting resources in purchasing shitcoins in form of you diversifying.

Diversifying when you haven't gotten far in your bitcoin purchases will only slow down your bitcoin accumulation because you will be focusing your resources in other places , so better to take things step by step .

Yeah, Of course diversification should be done after getting a huge portfolio and not when you are still making accumulation, but saying that one shouldn't diversify to other cryptocurrency depends on the decision of the investor to choose between investing on real life assets or cryptocurrency inasmuch as they find any of it convenient and invest within their spare income because there are some folks who diversified to cryptocurrencies with an amount they could afford to lose and they made quite some profits from it and used it to acquire more bitcoins in their portfolio but for those who may choose real life assets, it may be difficult for them to continue buying bitcoins since their proceeds will be in Fiats and they already have a sizable amount in their custody which means buying more bitcoins will be boring for them because any proceeds they get from their investments can only be circulated in Fiats.
