Given the odds, Manchester City are clear favourites heading into their Premier League encounter with the tricky trees. With their superior squad depth, I expect City to secure all three points with ease. Nottingham Forest has proven to be a tricky opponent especially at home, where they have managed to frustrate stronger teams with their compact and cohesive defensive setup and counter attacking threat. City must remain focused and avoid any form of complencancy, as Nottingham Forest has the capability to capitalize on any defensive lapses.
As it is there's nothing superior about City's squad depth. Have you seen Nottingham's defense and midfield? You'd agree with me that if the likes of KDB, Savinho or Doku don't feed the ball to Haaland, the Norwegian is as good as useless? You'd have to give credit to Omar Marmoush for his ability to push through opponents and force them to make mistakes but then, the defense of Nottingham Forest is top notch. I'm not going to over hype the hosts but I feel City are in for the ride of their lives.
