After watching Lamin Yamal in the past Euro 2024 tournament, I was thinking we will be having another Lionel Messi in him, but now that he has played some real football in a big team especially where Messi played most of career football, I now have a little reservations.  Although his age still gives him the opportunity of trying to fit into Messi's shoes, he will have to double his work rate including practice to come close to being Lionel Messi. I have not even seen anyone making any efforts to be like Cristiano Ronaldo.
You cannot conclude about yamal just yet, he's still a young talent who can grow even beyond the confineds of those great footballers in the likes of Messi,  he's still very young and still have quiet a number of time ahead of which if rightly utilised, he's going to be another top star Barcelona will be having I'm their history,  at his age he's already doing so much and so comparing him to Messi will onlbe unfair and look like making some u realistic expectations but very likely he's going to do so well with Tim, if he stays as long as these others, there's almost no limit to the much he can achieve.

Yeah, it can be said that this player is not consistent, sometimes he plays well, sometimes not, as you said, as a young player this is normal, besides that player support can sometimes be a hindrance for him meaning we haven't fully seen this player's potential. I remember at the start of the season he was one of the mainstays but recently his performance has declined, as a 17 year old player he has a market value of 180 million, there is clearly great potential in the future..
Yes, maybe it's because he's still young, so he needs more playing time so that his performance can be consistent. But it must be admitted that Yamal's role in Barcelona is currently very vital, he is the driving force in building Barcelona's attack which has made them currently in first place in the La Liga standings.

Compared to Messi, Yamal has been in the Barcelona squad since he was 16 years old, while Messi entered the squad at the age of 19. Messi at the age of 16 has not even entered the Barcelona bench. I'm not saying Yamal is better than Messi. However, Yamal will be the scapegoat in the future. There's no doubt, he's too talented.

Barcelona's future is bright with young players like Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Gavi, Cubarsi, Dani Olmo, Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado, Bernal, Balde, and Araujo. I'm sure Barcelona will return to the glory era like Messi's era, and most likely this season will get at least one trophy. Because they currently have opportunities in Laliga, Copa del Rey, and the Champions League. They might even have won more than one trophy if no players were injured.
