I still remember the meme that depicts Arsenal as an elephant sitting on a tree branch. The way Arsenal failed to win a trophy is still the same last season, where they still lost consistency in the final third of the season, we realize, that Arteta is currently missing several key players due to injury. The next match against Manchester United will clearly be very difficult, even though on paper they are more favored. Nottingham Forest, Manchester City and Chelsea will continue to put pressure until the end of the season, Arteta must now focus more on maintaining his team position in second place, no longer thinking about how to compete for trophies with Liverpool.
Arsenal have destroyed PSV in Philips Stadion, I don't think it's gonna be a hard match against Manchester United. Manchester United not even able to beat Real Sociedad. Arsenal lost several important players, but don't forget Manchester United almost lost half of their players.
I don't dispute the fact that Arsenal will beat Man U but your point to prove this is not good. First, the fact that Arsenal humiliated PVS doesn't mean Arsenal cannot disappoint, this is football. Besides, how many times does Arsenal beat an opponent 1-7? That means that such a performance can't be used to judge a replication in the next match, they may do well but no one should expect that can't of exceptional performance. Also, what is there in Man U failing to beat Real Sociedad? The last time I checked, Real Sociedad is better than the current Man U, so Man U holding them to a draw is an appraisal and is more reason why Arsenal should not undermine the club. Kudos to Arteta for voicing out the
reality.
