From winning the scudetto in 2022 to becoming a strong a strong contender who later finished in the top four in 2023 and recently in 2024 that they finished the Italian campaign as the first runner's up, AC Milan this season have been a shadow of themselves. I don't see them finishing in the top four this season unless a big miracle happens for them. Currently, they're 11 points behind fourth placed Juventus with just 11 league games to go.
It has been a terrible season for AC Milan after an inconsistent campaign and it will now be much harder for them to chase a ticket to qualify for the Champions League or Europa League if they don’t make changes in the remaining games. Not taking some steps forward will be a problem and it is not easy to change a team for the better in a short space of time. For the remaining matches, AC Milan must make good use of them because if not, they will have to be satisfied with the results they will get until the end of the season.
It's late for AC Milan this season, nothing serious can be humanly possibly done again. The performance was so disappointing and not even the coach or the player could do it, not even can they make it to the level to play in the UCL competition for the next season, it's just like crying when the head is off already, the reduce in feat is too much. Any serious changes can be towards the next season, but I don't know what Sérgio Conceição was looking until things got this bad, the club has not had it this bad in the past 5 years.
