The match ended with a 1-1 draw. Both teams shared the point with the draw. In terms of performance and statistics, it was quite balanced, but Genoa had a slightly higher percentage compared to their opponents, Cagliari. Even the number of shots they had was almost the same, between 9 and 8. Cagliari's only shot on target was the only goal they scored. And this lasted until the end.
It was surprising to see Genoa dominate the match, whereas previously I thought Cagliari would dominate as this was their home match. Cagliari managed to take the lead from a goal scored by Nicolas Viola in the first half, the score remained until the first half ended. However, not long after the second half started, Cornet scored for Genoa. Overall I'm disappointed with Cagliari's performance, they could not deliver the results expected by their supporters, including me as a bettor who bet on them.
