Liverpool was very lucky to have escaped with this win and what a much more desired win it was, given the way PSG was dominant all game. You almost wouldn’t see Liverpool getting anything out of this match, not even in the statistics. They performed poorly on an over all, much you would accredit to the fact that, PSG was playing from home and are much more experienced than you would say for Liverpool with so much quality on their team. Even with all that, Liverpool somehow found the net and sealed the game in a 0:1 game win.
It was indeed a lucky win for Liverpool who we all watched how Paris Saint Germaine outclassed them. The mystery about that game is that someone who didn't watch that game would easily judge the performances of both teams by the final result without knowing that the result didn't rightly express how the two top European clubs fared in the game. I expect Liverpool manager to try change his tactical approach when they host Paris Saint Germaine in the second leg to avoid being dominated like they experienced in the first leg. With the 1:0 victory for Liverpool, I think there's still much to play for when both teams meet at Anfield next week.
