The thing Tottenham themselves are in very bad form and they have struggled to score goals and that's what I fear in this match up, they have already lost the first leg although there were playing away so home advantage might have given the dutch team an upper hand but let's see how the return leg plays out although am not giving Tottenham any chances seeing how they have been playing although who knows it's the champions league emotion and atmosphere can make them play better.
The spurs will be getting the same home advantage that has been claimed to be the very advantage of the Dutch side so maybe we could tell better if that was all that got the spurs loosing because already the Dutch side is at an advantage as they got a home win and except for an exceptional win with a good point difference for the spurs, I doubt if they are going to be able to get pass this stage of the Europa, in their previous meeting, they didn't perform so well as their strikers weren't as effective but if that could be taken care of by their next visit, hopefully they win and have the chances to proceed to the next stage of the league.
After AZ Alkmaar eliminated a very strong Galatasaray in the knockout playoff stage, I expected Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou to adopt his best tactical approach when facing them knowing fully well that the Dutch club have all it takes to eliminate them from the competition as well. Tottenham Hotspur performance in the first leg was a very poor for an English club that many were already backing to be a major contender for the Europa League trophy this season. The good thing for Tottenham is that they have the big opportunity of turning the tie around when they host AZ Alkmaar next week by winning by a better goal margin than the 1:0 victory the Dutch club got in the first leg. If their big players can turn up and be at their best in that second leg on London next week, I'm very optimistic that Tottenham will win the tie
