Indeed, the gap between bitcoin and altcoins is too big. No need to dive into use cases, technology, or real-world applications. Just looking at bitcoin's market dominance and capitalization compared to altcoins, it's not hard to see how bitcoin is superior. Or even, no altcoin dares to claim or challenge bitcoin's dominance, all have to bow down to it. But it is puzzling that there are still some investors who are so ignorant that they do not realize that and make unnecessary comparisons between bitcoin and altcoins.

Honestly and I don't mean to be offensive but if someone is still skeptical about bitcoin and keeps comparing it to the rest of the market then it means they don't really understand the market and shouldn't invest.
