I actually agree with you. I believe that if 50 males and 50 females were trained to the same level of trading ability and skill, women would outperform men for the reasons you stated. It would coincide with statistics relating to men being more willing to take risk, while women generally tend to be more conservative (which ultimately works in favor of skilled traders). I think that the reason that we don't know or hear of more talented female traders is simply because becoming a trader and learning through research/experience is more attractive to males than females.
On point sir, I think even though the trading world is more populated with more men than women, if they are given equal chances,. They most likely will do better at trading,. They are inbuilt with natural characters of a trader. the only lacking part is the knowledge
I do think that in this day and age where trading is so accessible, that it is less to do with chance and opportunity for women and more to do with the fact that they are less attracted to risk than men. Nonetheless, I'd love to see an experiment with equal participation to see the results, as I believe as well that at an equal ability/skill level, they would do better.
