Tottenham is in poor form this season so don't expect too much from Tottenham even though in the last 16 they still have hope to qualify because in the second leg Tottenham will play at home and being 1 goal behind is not a difficult thing to catch up, it should be like that but if you look at Tottenham's strength this season I am a little pessimistic that their path can be longer in the Europa League this season.
Referring to the strength of the Tottenham Hotspur team this season, it is indeed a bit pessimistic for some people to expect the team to advance far to the next round this season in the Europa League. But considering the second leg for the Tottenham vs AZ Alkmaar match which took place at Tottenham's home ground, of course it is also not wrong to hope for Tottenham even though I personally am not sure that Tottenham will be able to beat AZ Alkmaar with a greater number of goals in the second leg.
Tottenham are only 1 goal behind Agg and in the second leg Tottenham will play at home so of course Tottenham still have a big chance to turn things around and advance to the quarter-finals.
I think it is very unfair to compare the performance in the domestic league and Europa League because of course every team has different motivation and that might apply to Tottenham because in the Premier League they don't have any more chances and now they are only focusing on the Europa League competition.
