Bitcoin is not legalized in some countries for several reasons, mainly due to concern over financial stability, government control and regulatory issues.
What are the reasons why some government had banned or restricted Bitcoins??

If we count countries that publicly came out that they banned Bitcoin are not more than 5 and majorly it was China when they wanted to make their citizens stay away from Bitcoin but then other countries follow the same pattern, they didn't legalize neither do they make it legal tender, as long as some countries don't like it even them as a country will reject it. This is how it has been and I hope some countries can make some bold changes later in the future.

As an individual, you don't need any confirmation if there is an approval of legal status or not or been allow as a legal tender. At this stage that we are, Bitcoin isn't legal because it's not something that can cause harm, kill or threaten any government that's if they know what's they are doing. Hodl it for good and sell when you think there is need about it, don't succumb to anyone's pressure that Bitcoin will die or will encounter any problem, it will surely stay.
