If we look at the news Turkish media and Fabrizio Romano has made recently, Manchester United is interested in Victor Osimhen who is playing on loan at Galatasaray now. I think that Manchester United are going to pay Osimhen's release clause of 75 million euros comfortably. Even though Osimhen has wasted time in the Turkish league for 1 year I think he can make difference in the Premier League easily because of still being one of the best strikers in the world.
Why would you say that Osimhen has wasted time in the Turkish league? Is he not playing football there or the Turkish league is not a standard league judging from your statement. The young man hasn't wasted anytime there. He's there to play football and fulfill his loan obligations to the club. That side, I agree with you that Osimhen is still one of the best legs we have in his position and of a truth, if Manchester United can secure his signature he will do well for the club. One thing I have observed is that the problem is not always the players at Manchester United, because we have seen that whenever a player moves out of old Trafford, they do well in their new clubs. Osimhen is still doing well where he is presently. I just hope if he comes to Manchester United, the indiscipline culture that has been ravaging the club in recent times won't affect his performance. Well we are expecting a total shake up in Manchester United squad next season. Let's see how it goes for them. Hopefully Amorim will restore discipline to the team.

That statement is absolutely correct that Osimhen wasted time in the Turkish league. Can you name one rising superstar who chose to go to Turkey voluntarily? Now it is known that Osimhen was in trouble and this was his last emergency exit and hence you could argue that he didn't waste time, but he did what he had to do. However, any other option would have been better. A player like Osimhen doesn't benefit from playing in the Turkish league, but the Turkish league benefits from players like Osimhen because they never get the chance to sign superstars.

Think about it, if a player is brought in connection with clubs like Real Madrid and other big names in football and then ends up playing in the Turkish league, doesn't that sound like a waste of time if we leave aside the special circumstances of this case? It sounds really odd because he was supposed to either play for his former club or go to one of the biggest names in football. That is why I think the statement that he wasted time is at least correct to a certain degree. Nobody would think that players like Bellingham go to Galatasaray Istanbul ever and there is a reason for it.
