I am also from a country where crypto is banned and government take strict action against anyone involved in buying and selling of crypto. So such option is not valid for us.
But if I have the option of buying real estate with my Bitcoin for investment purpose then I will stay away from that because Bitcoin is more valuable asset then real estate. The worth of bitcoin is increasing exponentially with time that's why it's better to hodl your bitcoin rather then exchanging them with real world asset like real estate.
It's a kind of blessing in disguise for me that crypto trading is banned in my country, I have no other option but to hodl my bitcoin.
I don't know how you people feel about it but I think it's an oppression and tyranny. I have no problem with them for refusing to approve it as official legal tender but stopping and taking strict action on individuals using it is absolutely wrong as it causes no harm them and their institutions. They are just being guilty of their unjust behaviour and feel people will abandon their failed and exploration system for crypto.
Holding is a good idea but you know we can't hold forever. We would one day exchange our coins for something in return to fulfil our achievements of holding. So I'm curious, how would you do when the time comes? Since you are being banned from trading crypto assets. Are you ready to face the repercussions in case you are being caught?
