The form that Tottenham is in is a serious problem for them because they don't have the confidence they used to have a while ago. This is probably going to be one of the worst Premier League seasons for them in a long time.

As for the game against Alkmaar, it still is manageable for them especially since the rule of a goal scored away from home counts double doesn't exist anymore. That would have been tough for them as Alkmaar isn't that bad in counter attacking and then one goal would have meant three goals at least for Tottenham, which in the past would have still been possible, but in their current form I don't think they will more or less easily score three goals.

The result for now is what it is and I wouldn't give Tottenham 50% anymore as Alkmaar goes through with a draw. But it is not like Tottenham is already out, they still have a decent chance to go to the next round.

Tottenham are a disaster, but they only need to score 2 goals and not concede any goals, I think this task is not very difficult, especially because Tottenham will be playing at home

In this competition, Tottenham had better results when they played at home, and look at that Tottenham on October 24th last year played at home against AZ in a Europa League game and Tottenham won without conceding a goal

I believe Tottenham will win

Two goals only gets them into overtime, it is not over then and I think they would rather end this early because I believe the suspected underdogs often have a small advantage during overtime. They have the option to be satisfied with a penalty shootout at some point if they sense that momentum is going against them and they are better advised to slow the game down and raise frustration within their opponents' minds. It is every time like that, but I think quite often. Nevertheless, Alkmaar is ahead here and the advantage is not overwhelming, but quite substantial. Tottenham had bad games at home too and it is not this safe place they used to have due to their inconsistencies this season.
