Yes. It's all about control.

That's basically sovereignty, and most governments in the world want more of that, of course.

If you don't have sovereignty, then you might not even have a country anymore.

It's a basic principle of a country.

It's either controlled or it's a thing that is unpredictable for the future events for the gov.
So that's why it should be put off the equation.
