Currently Lazio are mostly favoured by bookies @5.50. Tottenham being right behind @6.25 and Manchester United @6.75. So the English teams are even ahead of teams such as Athletic Bilbao, Roma etc.. I think this is quite overrated. I don't believe these English teams are playing better than any of the others I mentioned.  Tongue  I even think at least one of these teams will be eliminated in this stage. If you think the same as me which one do you expect, Manchester United or Tottenham?

I'm closer to Tottenham here because AZ already have a good advantage and they are better than Real Sociedad now.

Not long ago, Tottenham and United were the tournament favourites, but apparently their "successes" in the Premier League forced the bookmakers to make their odds more reasonable. I don't know if Sociedad and AZ can knock them out, but I believe in Sociedad more. United had a grueling game with Arsenal, so maybe they won't have time to refocus on the Europa League. Besides, the overall result against Arsenal is positive, so it is difficult to expect United to show two positive results in a row  Grin

Realistically, seeing how the united team has been performing since this season, Sociedad will definitely give Manchester United a very tough time in this game despite the fact that the red devils are playing host. And yes, just as you've said regarding their clash with Arsenal during their Premier League game, they may have really lost focus of this game having them only few days to get prepare, So, some of their players might be weak, whereas on the other hand, that game may also have booster their moral a bit to face Real Sociedad in this their encounter.
Perhaps the biggest proof that Manchester United can come back strongly in any season is the match against Arsenal. Arsenal is a strong team in the Premier League and they have won against many strong opponents in the Premier League and with consistent performances they are at the second position in the points table while Manchester United have performed well against this team in the Premier League and have drawn the result. We saw Manchester United draw against Real Sociedad in the Europa League Super Sixteen and that match was the first leg match. 
In the match of the second leg, both teams have equal chances, so as Manchester United will enter the field considering Real Sociedad as a difficult opponent, Real Manchester United will enter the field with a difficult plan considering it as a difficult opponent. 

In this tough plan between the two teams, the team that does better will win in their favor and that team will secure the next round.
