How do you see Tottenham and Manchester United's chances for the Europa League trophy this year?
Currently Lazio are mostly favoured by bookies @5.50. Tottenham being right behind @6.25 and Manchester United @6.75. So the English teams are even ahead of teams such as Athletic Bilbao, Roma etc.. I think this is quite overrated. I don't believe these English teams are playing better than any of the others I mentioned.
I even think at least one of these teams will be eliminated in this stage. If you think the same as me which one do you expect, Manchester United or Tottenham?
I'm closer to Tottenham here because AZ already have a good advantage and they are better than Real Sociedad now.
Tottenham chances of winning the Europa League this season are gradually fading after their first leg defeat at the hands of AZ Alkmaar. As for Manchester United, they performed well in Spain and still have a strong chance of progressing. However given their poor form and inconsistent pattern of play, it is not surprising that fans doubt their ability to go far in the competition. I think Manchester United should be able to advance to the next rounds.
