I think you weren't forced to sell your bitcoin; you just invested in bitcoin in a way that it stopped you from sorting out your daily expenses, which left you with no choice but to sell your bitcoin even when there was a dip to sort out your daily expenses. This is one of the reasons why we shouldn't use all our money to invest in bitcoin so that we will always be in the position of sorting out our daily expenses and not depend on our bitcoin investment to do it, but since you failed to abide by this rule, you have no choice but to pay dearly by selling your bitcoin investment at a loss to survive.
