Frankfurt were the better side in the fixture against Union Berlin but failed to capitalize on their chances in the final third, ultimately falling short and allowing Union Berlin to secure the victory. With this result, Frankfurt risk losing out of the Champions League spot especially given Freiburg's and Leipzig's strong performances. Their lack of clinical finishing could prove costly in the race for European qualification.
UCL definitely makes teams have a result that is a little dubious because teams try to rest during the league games. Leverkusen is aware that they can't catch to Bayern Munich too, and Bayern Munich knows they are going to win the league title. So most teams just try to rest, even if they do play some star players, they just try to rest in the game and not run too much.
Aside from Kane though, that dude has a work horse mentality and keeps working like crazy, even on a loss he was crazy good and we ended up seeing them do a lot better than expected. We shouldn't really be expecting the result to be this badly when some of their players ended up playing this great, and if they fix this next week, they won't be losing any sleep.
