I agree with them that Bitcoin has the potential to restructure the global financial system, serving as an alternative to traditional banking.

How? Bitcoin is a volatile asset. How do you think it is going to restructure the global financial system? The world can't depend on a currency that isn't stable because even if it goes up in value as well, it can be disastrous if it drops in value, and we know Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency market does that. Bitcoin has a cyclical pattern when it comes to its value; we have bear runs and bull runs, and when there is a bear run, the market crashes, and most of the coins lose more than 50% of their value. How do you think that will be managed if Bitcoin is used as a currency globally, replacing fiat?

The right answer is that Bitcoin doesn't qualify to be in that position. Yes, it was created as an alternative to traditiona financial systems because they are centralized and provide no privacy and anonymity and Bitcoin does that, but it wasn't created to replace the current system and it cannot do that.

So, it's important to understand everything before reaching conclusions or even making thoughts in your mind.
