AS Roma did not play well this season due to the mistakes of the previous coach, but after the change of coach AS Roma slowly found their identity again, they even realized that AS Roma has a big name so they should be able to be consistent in the European league, and this was proven in the first leg they managed to achieve perfect results. Basically the coach used to be bad, then finally after changing coach Ranieri AS Roma's game was good again.

So I'm sure under Ranieri AS Roma can rise again especially since they have quite good players, especially Dybala. In the second leg even though Bilbao is very favored, it doesn't mean they can easily beat AS Roma, we know Ranieri is a very experienced coach, he certainly has his own way to face Bilbao who will definitely play openly in the second leg because they will look for a quick goal to catch up on the aggregate. AS Roma in this match will definitely play defensively by only relying on counterattacks. So I'm sure AS Roma will be able to get through the second leg and advance to the next round.

Roma did not play well this season, but I can't help but think that they have a great chance here against Bilbao because Bilbao is looking so great that the majority of people thought they would not lose against Roma in the first game. But not only did they lose, they also were inferior in many of the most important statistics and that surprised me because they have been playing so well in La Liga.

Now in my opinion teams like Roma and Bilbao benefit a lot from playing at home. I don't if this can statistically be proven, but from the top my head I think I remember many games when teams like Roma and Bilbao had these crazy comebacks or home games with their own fans backing them. That is why I think this is one of the most interesting Europa League games this week. Both clubs with great traditions, greated audiences and if both teams are in great shape, they can play some awesome and highly emotional football.
