Sure. Liverpool are leading the standings currently, and as you said, Arsenal are second in the table, although I don’t think Arsenal will make any mistake that will make them drop points and leave that position to Nottingham Forest right now. I think they would rather do more and see if they can be able to near Liverpool in points, but I don’t think they can surpass and get the first place in the table currently; it will be hard for Arteta to get it.
I think they should just maintain their consistency, and if they can’t improve, they should not drop in performance so they won’t lose their position to Nottingham Forest. And I think Arsenal are not too bad to make that happen. Let's see what they will do; there are still matches to be played, and we will see what Arteta will do because he already knows Nottingham Forest is going to be a challenge for him in that position.
Liverpool cannot afford to watch Arsenal win the rest of their Premier League games to reduce the points difference between them. Liverpool currently leads the Premier League table by 15 points over Arsenal, however, remember that it is not the beginning of the season to expect Arteta to do anything to reduce Liverpool's point differential. The points differential is big for Liverpool to win the league title; if they did not have 10 more games remaining to play, Liverpool might have lifted their first trophy with a 15-point lead over Arsenal.
The only way Arsenal can compete this season is to improve their performance and win the rest of the games they have to finish in their main position; Arsenal has finished in second place the previous two seasons. Nottingham Forest behind them by four points; if Arsenal makes any mistakes, they are going to take over second place because Arsenal does not have a good finisher in their squad.
