Liverpool's defeat out of UCL was so brutal. No one sees it coming this way that after leading the UCL standing for long, Liverpool gets kicked out without reaching the semi-finals. Liverpool was assumed the better contestant for the UCL trophy because of their formidable performance both in the Premier League and Champions League.
However, the Premier League trophy is a done deal for them to lift this season. The EFL trophy can be their own if they beat Newcastle in the finals, being Sunday.
