Sometimes UCL is brutal. Liverpool became one of the victims in this season's competition. Most people will not believe they lost and even at home, but we have to admit that PSG was much more prepared. Now Liverpool have two targets, the Premier League title and the EFL trophy, this is another proof for them to get it, if successful I think this achievement is also a good achievement for Arne's leadership in his first season.
Mehn. I guess Liverpool will live with this sore for a while before they get over it. It's not good, or something nice to see you lose a game after having all hopes of winning particularly when you have to lose to your opponents at home without benefiting from any home advantage. That's what happened against the Liverpool team and I hope this grave disappointment will not follow them in their subsequent matches. Sometimes, you wonder if it's a magic that a team that looks brave and powerful in the eyes of many becomes feeble suddenly and losing their stand or chances of winning.
What I saw was natural but it was later different from what became the reality. What I envisaged was Liverpool winning with at least a goal or two to compliment the efforts they've made earlier in winning over PSG at Paris. Little did I know that PSG was prepared for a comeback which really gave them the result of banging Liverpool off the tour on the same vein of securing 1 goal but with the extra efforts of winning the penalty shootout almost effortlessly.
