Actually Arteta doesn't have to win the big league before he can be praised, he has done so much for the club, do you think Arsenal would have been this way if not for the coach?, actually I also wish Arteta to have won a big trophy but I cannot say Arsenal made a mistake of hiring him because if Arteta leave Arsenal that means they will not be top four or even top five in premier League, the moment they just announced his leaving a lot of clubs will be willing to pay big amount for him including Manchester United they can even remove their coach now to hire Arteta, Arsenal and Aston Villa are the only two English clubs left on the champions League and Arsenal are the one I no will definitely qualify today because they are 7 to 1 in advantage, so they will not have to drain themselves as Liverpool because PSV has to score 6 goals without Arsenal scoring before they can talk about equal, so they are going with Feyenoord as they also couldn't make it.

Your post seems biased without supported by the data. So, i bring you how much money spent by Arsenal since Arteta joined there. So, you can compare them to the City about final net balance and achievements by the club. City who successfully won 4 EPL trophies in a row combined with UCL, and various trophies actually spent less than Arsenal did. This is clear the problem is not player, but coach.
As for Arsenal's result in UC, i have no comment as they still luckily got ez fixture. The better to wait when they fight strong team such as Madrid, Bayern Munich or even Barcelona.
