I don't know how stupid this may sound, but why do we say dollar cost averaging, DCA, instead of Satoshi cost averaging, SCA or Bitcoin cost averaging, BCA?
Why DCA, instead of BCA?

This is owing to the fact that we could associate any legal currency with cost averaging as a strategy of investment for either short or long term durations.

It's not stupid,  it is actually a nice question though.Well I think the reason why they said dollar cost averaging was because dollar is more like a universal currency or mostly used and popular currency in the world and then it is been used to buy Bitcoin you can not use Bitcoin to buy Bitcoin, so dollar is a currency that is been used to buy Bitcoin though other currency can be use but just like I said I think is the most popular and mostly used currency in the cryptocurrency world.
We tend to confine in more public terms, DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) is for those who earn mostly in fiats, some countries consider the USD as stable currencies compared to their local currency, after receiving income they want to first buy in USD before investing in Bitcoin, when you measure the accrued amount of your funds for investment purpose in USD then it is more likely to be called DCA, from any other currency without interfering with USD can be termed what ever, BCA is more likely the same if you convert, so whatever way everything ends up in your portfolio as Bitcoin.
