I am a person who pays a pessimistic attention to Manchester United to face Real Sociedad. Manchester United are in a wind-in-law in the domestic league even though in the European League they performed better.
The 1-1 results in leg 1 benefited Manchester United because at that time Real Sociedad acted as the host. Not that leg 2 that will occur at the pride of Manchester United Stadium can make it easy for United to be able to appear digged.

If they can repeat their performance like when facing Arsenal, chances are luck will be on the side of The Red Devils.
