Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. As I speak, my portfolio is down by 50% and ironically, this happened at a time when I needed funds for something urgent. Thankfully, I took advice from someone on this forum about participating in airdrops, which became my saving grace this week.
I had participated in a play-to-earn airdrop for $OIK, a Web3-based space opera MMORPG, a few weeks ago. Initially, I didn't put much effort into it, as previous experiences with $CATS, $MAJOR, and $DOGS had left me disappointed. However, it surprised me by announcing its listing on X. Although I'm unsure of the listing price, I've deposited my tokens on an exchange and plan to participate in the poolx for any additional airdrops.
My advice to you all is that airdrops are still an active and viable opportunity. Don't underestimate their potential!
TAP games are so hit and miss that I missed the first of good airdrops and when I joined and gave them my full time, the reward they provided was too low. DOG was somewhat good considering how less effort it took me otherwise every other games I played day and night setting alarms in middle of the night just to stay active and they provided so less that it didn't even covered transaction fees. After that period, I completely stopped playing games or following any listing of games I have played. It's good that you got lucky and got rewarded good for your effort but I no longer have interest on those games.
I was in the middle, but still missed those airdrops and so I'm thinking that this is just another hype, just like before during the ICO ways way back in 2017 until the play to earn in 2021.
Which means that it's all hype and if you first the first part then the next one could be the worst as you will just waste your time. Maybe you can get some airdrop, but how big it is in the future when almost all of the projects have died down already. So I don't look at this tap to earn, it might be better to just continue and accumulate Bitcoin and wait for the eventual bull run in the last quarter of the year.
