The truth is that most of our leaders are carried away by the name leader, they feel bearing the name leader they can do whatever they like. Leader means good example, when you lead the people will follow. Leader in the other way round is to serve but I'm sure but some leaders don't know this but they think being leader is come and be rich for their children. Leaderships is more of to serve, you do what the people wants , this is true leadership.
Most acclaimed leaders today are individuals who called parade themselves leaders but do not worth it at all..they are just opportunist who, by virtue of history and fate, held the position of leadership but are not truly leaders in nature or in practice. You cannot be a leader and be self-centered, always looking for ways to take advantage of their subjects, amass wealth for themselves and their immediate family whereas leaving their followers hungry and in abject poverty. A leader is described by their distinctive qualities and not just mere positions. It takes a whole lots of responsibility to be a leader, not so complex, but genuine and trustworthy enough to carry people along while working in the interest of the larger population than a group of friends and family.
An ideal leader should not just be a person, but should be someone who possesses hundreds of qualities and has the ability to understand people's emotions and feelings. An ideal leader must have sufficient ability to convince everyone and must be capable of making the ultimate sacrifice. A leader should never be corrupt, but he should have the courage to stop corruption and have the strategy to integrate himself with the people. An ideal leader should have sufficient competence in management.
Those qualities might not be much but clear and positive. A leader must be positive, clear in their objectives and open-minded. As a leader, your major character remains your altruism and magnanimity, truthful and trustworthy. Most leaders don't have clear agenda, they don't have set goals and targets, they are not even properly organized. Leadership starts from home, how you treat your family, how you commit to your family's success. The same goes with the leaders of communities, states, counties and nation at large. At any step, you need to be able to stand in and protect the interest of your people.
