I still stand firm to say that English teams are all overrated, before now they all thought Liverpool will win the Champions League. I told the guys in our WhatsApp group, that for the fact that Liverpool came first doesn't mean they will win it and I was so sure of that. I totally agree with this your colouration of the teams, to me it means those teams will advance to the next stage of the competition.
Real Madrid will dump Arsenal out of the competition, Dortmund won't survive against Barcelona. PSG will eat Aston Villa raw and Bayern Munich will definitely use experience again to eliminate Inter Milan though it will not be an easy game.
If what you say were 100% true, then you would probably become rich with gambling just by betting on Real Madrid winning. I wouldn't say only Real Madrid can win the Champions League title, while others are losers. Real Madrid was just lucky to qualify for the quarter-finals after playing badly throughout the match and winning the penalty round.
PSG, Barcelona and Arsenal tend to be better in the round of 16, even Bayern Munich are just as good. I have to admit that how lucky Real Madrid is to qualify for the quarter-finals, but I'm not sure they can make it to the semifinals or final when they meet Arsenal. Just because you and many people are Real Madrid fans, but Real Madrid doesn't always play well in every match. But don't get me wrong, I don't hate Real Madrid, but in fact I admit that they tend to have a mentality compared to Atletico Madrid in the penalty round.
