I too encounter gambling ads almost daily. As I understand it is the work of targeted advertising because we are interested in this area of entertainment. By the way, I have enough information from the forum to play on gambling platforms with a good reputation. I trust the members of this forum more than advertising in social networks, because there is often advertised outright fraud and no one moderates it.
OP must have known ways of how to stop it like installing ad blocks and the other is by not watching gambling contents. That should divert the algorithm in others. I already tried a couple of gambling ads on social media and so far none of them have scammed me and if ever there are, I think it will still get mass reported and taken down immediately. The known issue so far about them is false advertising but there is also an option for this if we want to report them. It is great that being involved in communities like Bitcointalk, allows us to be informative about what is legit and what is a scam. As for other people that are not a member of such, they still can learn with their mistakes.
