That's true, they will now concentrate on premier league since there is no any other title they're competing apart from premier league. So I think liverpool will be very consistent this time, since psg have relieved them from going through the champions league stress. Though is so funny to say this, but that's the fact. However, I think there is nothing for them to worry about because the point distance is very huge of which you and I know that the possibility for any team to come from behind and win the title is 0% because I can't even imagine this happening.
Yeah even though we were all shocked by Liverpool defeat in the Champions League but on the other hand this will be the right moment to focus on the local league, as we know Liverpool is 90% on the right track for the title so they just need to wait for this season to end. Arsenal may be Liverpool's closest rivals but currently Arsenal are still competing in the Champions League so this will affect their performance in the Premier League that's why I say arsenal has no way to catch up with liverpool.
No matter how bad every player in a team is in their penalty killing skills, they can't score a goal in a crucial match like the Super Sixteen of the Champions League, where defeat will see them exit the tournament. In fact, every Liverpool player showed extreme unprofessionalism in the second leg match against PSG. I think Liverpool's manager was overconfident and didn't feel the need to train his players on penalties. If the players were trained to take penalties before the match I believe Liverpool could have scored more goals from penalties against PSG. PSG won the Champions League against Liverpool in qualification whereas Liverpool did poorly and were defeated due to poor performances.
Liverpool is not as strong as it looks from the outside. To do well in such big tournaments, they need to strengthen their team.
