Before we answer the how's, we should first look at what is economic empowerment? To me, it is a promotion and strengthening of equity rather than equality. Equity is making sure that those underprivileged gets more help than those who already have privileges rather than giving equal opportunities to everyone when some people need it more.

Economic empowerment should provide quality education, social protection, and access to resources. This will ensure that people can be given help to actually improve their lives and not just live to survive each day. By doing this, poverty cycles can be broken off and the general economy of the country will be improved.
