I think you have jumped the gun so to speak on this assumption. There is no peace deal yet, they
agreed to have talks. I cant find anything online to suggest when these talks will commence.
You're right, the talk have not been scheduled, but we are only placed with the proposal for it, hoping that maybe something new and interesting could comes out of it, provided that the both parties shifted their grounds and agree to establish a concrete MoU for peace to reign again.
There have been some diplomatic breakthroughs in the past two days. After the US and Ukrainian delegations met in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine issued a statement accepting the temporary ceasefire (30 days) proposed by the US. Along with that, according to news reports, President Putin also expressed support for this ceasefire proposal with some conditions. Although no ceasefire or formal agreement has been announced yet, it appears that after much stalemate, things are getting much better.
I believe that we will soon have a temporary ceasefire and possibly a permanent ceasefire and a complete end to the war.
