All your predictions were right except for Liverpool, I always doubted Liverpool’s chances of winning over PSG after watching the first leg. PSG totally outplayed Liverpool in their game but were unfortunate to concede in the end. In the second leg PSG made sure that slip up never happened as they equalized Liverpool’s one goal and beat them in penalties.
After Liverpool failed to advance to the quarter-finals, the chances of an English team winning the UCL trophy are very small, now the EPL representatives are Arsenal and Aston Villa, in my opinion both teams will have difficulty when facing other strong teams such as Real Madrid and PSG. Liverpool were very unlucky in the second leg, they only needed a draw to qualify, but the goal scored by PAG at Anfield changed everything.
Even though these 2 English representatives failed, I still take my hat off to them both. Considering that to get to this point, no one expected Aston Villa to be on par with the other great teams in the top 8. Unay also said in front of the press that we are already at this level, we are proud. Regarding the future, they will try their best and by any means. PSG is no longer the PSG of the past and now they are in a phase of extraordinary stability, their motivation to continue to advance is also unstoppable. Unay and his troops must work even harder. On the other hand, Arsenal must face Madrid which from any point of view we know that Arsenal currently does not have a single pure striker and I am quite worried that Arsenal will be much more disappointed with their failure than Aston Villa.
