This information from what I know isn't coming from Chille the Super Eagles head coach, he knows how instrumental Victor Osimhen can be for him in his team and wouldn't risk it losing the striker for anything as he looks forward to get Nigeria qualify for the world cup.
All what Coach Chille is interested in are players that are ready to give in their all for the team to succeed, he's not about big names or not but players willing to join with him in taking the Super Eagles to the world cup.
Here is his recent conversation with Victor Osimhen about what he expects from the players he's going to pick and I think even Victor Osimhen is in the plan for him to have such discussion with the star player.
Victor Osimhen and victor Boniface, those two guys have really been instrumental for the success of our Nigerian Super Eagles teams, and as such it will be very bad to start our first game without those two excellent strikers. And as such, from the statement given above by coach Chille, I see it as a piece of word to motivate our Super Eagles players to be up and doing as we kick start this forthcoming World cup Qualifiers. Because one thing is having good players and another thing is having those players play effectively on the pitch. Because I think since this first match will be played in Rwanda on the 21th March, I think our Super Eagles players are ought to have been in camp by now, which is 1week before the date to prepare effectively.
