Their mentality is still not well directed even though the enthusiasm of Arsenal's young players is not in doubt but their mentality to win is still quite lacking even though they are one of the clubs that are expected to be able to compete fiercely for the championship competition but at the moment it seems they have to give up these hopes because indeed the conditions are quite difficult to force for Arsenal especially with Liverpool's condition at the top of the standings which still cannot be tackled.
Manchester City faltered this season but that momentum could not be maximized by Arsenal due to several problems and at the moment they actually still have a problem where some of their players (the strikers) who are injured make their performance a little slack and it can be seen in their last 3 matches that could not get full points in the matches carried out.
Yes, Arsenal have struggled to win the title for a long time because of mentality issues. I admit it, but Arsenal have improved quite well under Arteta. Arsenal need to improve their mentality if they want to win the Premier League title because so far they have been quite good in terms of performance, but this season has been too much for them to expect. Arteta needs to make many important changes in improving the team's mentality, but this is not a trivial problem to solve in a season.
Arsenal's declining performance problem is certainly caused by several things, including one of which is player injuries. Some substitutes have done their best, but they are not like the main players that can be expected. Losing 7 points in the last 3 games is clearly very bad for them, especially in their efforts to compete with Liverpool. But now is not the time to discuss Arsenal's chances of winning, it is already very difficult.
