Why don't you just invite him to lunch/dinner and see if you're right or not? I won't say that the man doesn't have a sense of business, but he's a typical gold bug who uses BTC to attract attention to himself, nothing more than that. I think there are a lot of smart people here, unless you do not consider smart those who invested in BTC 10+ years ago?
Such people, unlike him, do not have to play the fool online for a little attention - because it seems to me that he does nothing else besides that.
I've listened to some of the podcasts, and the interviews that had him. He is well-informed in what's happening in Economics, its history, its evolution, and all the topics that we know - like the Austrian Economics vs. Keynesian Economics debate.
Because he's a Gold Bug, his insights run side by side with many Bitcoiners.
