First post. Don't hate.

This isn't super scalable but its an idea I came up with and im trying to see if I want to pull the trigger and make it.

let me know what you think. CRITICS welcome.

Thanks.

Limitations & Constraints:
Garage environment with very limited floor space.
window for exhaust, Separate window for inlet
CANNOT HEAT THE GARAGE whatsoever.
CANNOT LEAVE DOOR OPEN
Must filter air

Goals:
Divide all air so that no video card is getting air that has been heated by other components.
Reasonable airflow for low noise
100% filtered,
Positive pressure

Basic concept:
__________________
-----Exhaust------
---------8 Cards--
_______\________
- 8 Cards--\------
__________\_____
----------/-------
-- FAN--/--FAN---
________________
---AIR FILTERS---
________________

Air starts at the bottom, Passes through the fans.
It is then segregated, One fan feeds the lower most cards, The other fan feeds the upper most cards.
The air is continued to be segregated until the top rack where the top cards exhaust their heat.
The air is then piped out of a window.

my 2c:   go with 12 cards instead of 16. you can get 6 per mobo with windows 8, thus eliminating the need for two mobo/ram/cpu/hdd assmeblies, simplifying the control/monitoring, and allow all 12 cards to fit on a single shelf.

ps: dont forget to consider monitor placement for WHEN you need direct access
