That of Aston Villa reaching the quarter finals is not luck, because they humiliated the club that they played with in the round of 16. A narrow escape is what is called luck. Liverpool winning PSG in the first leg was based on luck. PSG qualifying through penalty and Real Madrid are what we consider as luck. You shouldn't also use the performance of a team in her domestic league to judge their performance in European competition.
Aston villa's qualification to the next round of the UCL has nothing to do with luck, they have been very deliberate in their approach towards all the matches they have played this season in the Champions League, especially in the preliminary stages where they succeeded in upsetting big teams like Juventus and Bayern Munich respectively,  even in the knockout stage against club Brugge, they were able to subdue the Belgian side that eliminated Atalanta and this shows how competitive they can be and I wouldn't call it luck because  their game is well defined unlike Real that escaped being eliminated by Athletico Madrid after a penalty shootout.

Aston Villa are in better shape, but it will be difficult for them to progress to the next stage since PSG are in a wonderful position this season, and I believe they will overcome Aston Villa if they perform as well as they did against Liverpool.  I just know they will give PSG a rough time, but PSG will have the potential to go to the next round.  Real Madrid versus Arsenal will be a difficult game because Arsenal has a poor record against Real Madrid in the UCL, and history will most likely repeat itself if Madrid loses.

Arteta may not be performing well in the league, but they are doing well in the UCL, defeating psv with many goals. Let's see how the game ends, but I simply know that psg has already advanced to the next round. We'll judge after Arsenal vs Madrid because anything can happen in the game. Let's see who advances to the next round. Ancelotti will be the favorite to win the match because they are better than Arsenal this season, and they are playing at Madrid's home for the second leg. If they play at the Emirates Stadium first, they will return to Madrid for the second leg, and everyone knows Madrid is different in the Champions League.
