Namibia won the toss and elected to bat against Canada. Namibia got off to a good start. Although the batsmen are batting very slowly. But we always see such slow batting from these teams. A target of 220-250 is enough for them to win. Neither Canada nor Namibia are very strong teams. So if Namibia can somehow give a target of more than 200, then their chances of winning are high.
After 25 overs, Namibia scored 100 runs for the loss of three wickets . Opener Zane green could not add any runs to the scoreboard. Jp Kotze was just out after scoring 48 runs. Besides , nikolaas Davin played an innings of 31 runs.
It was an easy victory for Canadian to achieve, as opponent namabian hasn't put a difficult target on board and mostly Canada has upper hand on them throughout the tournament. but yeh due to lack of quality cricket from Canadian boys unable to filled the required and thus with a small margin of 12 runs after rain intruption they lose thier vital match. No doubt namabian are far below them according to standing but here thier effort worth it.
Anyway according to scoredboard Canadian start were quite ordinary they almost build 80 around partnership and it was look like it Gona be easy bite to filled the rest of required, but some quality deliveries from namabian captain get the game for them.
