I think that's a bit misleading, when you say 4 houses for a backup, it's more about having multiple, separate, easily accessible locations for the seed and passphrase, not necessarily 4 separate houses. For me, it's a combination of a secure location for the hardware wallet, a paper backup with the seed, and maybe a cloud storage for the passphrase, in case I need to access it remotely.
I agree with the easily accessible, because the more you make it complicated, the more chance you would lost to access your coins. Easily accessible doesn't mean you can throw away your backup in any place you want, but you have to make it doesn't look like something that contain secret thing, make it like ordinary stuff.
Cloud storage is the worst way to save secret thing, it's better the passphrase is easy and can be memorize, but you have to have another backups in order to prevent if you failed to remember the phrase.
