Fiat is flawed, sure. But the way things are right now, Bitcoin is a gamble, not some magic fix.
So, pick your poison.
I would not go as far to say that bitcoin is a gamble but it can't be a magic fix to whatever the issues are in fiat. The thing is fiat's issues are its own alone. Bitcoin is not meant to replace fiat. But it can serve as an alternative. Right now, since bitcoin is not massively adapted by everyone and every country yet it makes it harder to completely make use of bitcoin and use it to its maximum.
Now fiat is still needed no matter how you do not like fiat, it is almost impossible to live normally without some fiat on you. I would like to see someone live with just bitcoin. So no it is not a magic fix but I believe that bitcoin has been reliable and stable enough to not be called a gamble.
I don't see bitcoin as a wild bet but I wouldn't say it's ready to kick regular money to the curb either. Right now, I still need cash because not everyone takes bitcoin, honestly, it's kind of a hassle sometimes when I want to use it. But I love how it's got my back with stuff like no one controlling it and keeping my savings safe when prices go crazy. The more people start using it, the easier it'll get, I bet. It's not some perfect answer to everything but I feel good having it as a solid option in my pocket. I'm excited to see where it goes as more folks jump on board.
