The results that I have predicted before, you don't need to believe in Man City even though they are playing at home, now it's different. We see the statistics against Brighton, both teams played a draw even though in ball possession Man City was slightly superior but ball possession alone is not enough if not sharp in attack. Man City is currently like a mid-table team that has difficulty breaking into the top 4, on the other hand this result is an opportunity for Chelsea to maintain its current position. I think if Man City continues like this, there is a possibility that its place will be taken over by Brighton and Newcastle.

Is this a bad result for Manchester city? I can't say that. Manchester City are not in good form. Brighton are also a strong team. So I would say it is a good result for Manchester City.

Last week we saw Manchester city lose to nottingham Forest. I can't say that brighton is weaker than Nottingham Forest. Brighton is also a strong team. Even against City , Brighton's players performed well.

Most of the bettors  considered Manchester City as the favorite  considering Manchester City's home match. And that was their mistake. I would say that Brighton  played better in this match than City.
Yes, it is definitely a disappointing result for Manchester City. Failing to hold onto their lead twice at home and allowing Brighton to come back into the game is a poor performance. Even in their inconsistent state I still expected them to secure all three points. Many bettors would have lost their wagers as City were widely expected to win. Dropping points in such games could hinder them from making a top four finish.

The challenge with Manchester City cant be overemphasized, they are totally out of all cup race which is not something they are used to but I still believe getting the top 4 spot wouldn’t be much of a challenge only because the other challengers are not doing so well too.
But really poor performances back to back, as for Chelsea and Newcastle taking the spot i don’t really see that happening because they are also back up with some level of inconsistency.
